This position is for a Team Lead to lead the Change Management and Communications strategy for an enterprise migration from Windows 2007 to Windows 2010.
 
Task Description:
 
This position is for an Organization Change Management (OCM) and Communications Lead to execute on a high-level Communications Strategy has been created and approved by the client, and to lead the change and communication efforts for deployment to 10,000+ users. The candidate must be able to serve as the subject matter expert for change management and communications. They should be able to tailor industry best practices to suit the needs of the federal agency and make adjustments as necessary while upgrades are in process. CONUS and OCONUS processes may vary. The candidate should be able to work equally well with end users and System Managers. 
We envision the OCM Team would consist of 2-3 resources, including a junior communications analyst and a training lead. The Team Lead must have experience leading small teams, and integrating with technical teams seamlessly. To be successful in this position, the candidate must also display excellent teamwork skills, written and oral communication skills, and formal documentation skills.
The Team Lead will specifically own deliverables, including:
  • A Detailed Communication Plan
  • Detailed Messaging
  • A Envisioning Workshop
In addition, we would expect the Team Lead to significantly contribute to:
  • Schedule Management
  • Regular Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
  • User Acceptance Testing Strategy
  • Deployment Strategy
This is a high-visibility client interfacing position supporting rollout of Windows 10 enterprise wide. Work will be performed out of the client’s facilities in Arlington, VA and Washington DC. Work involves interaction with 80+ OCONUS missions, 30+ CONUS organizations, and very high-level stakeholders.

  • Managing delivery changes for distributed IT systems
  • Experience maintaining operations while change is occurring
  • Planning for minimal down time and minimal user interruption
  • Experience working in the Federal environment and work with Federal clients
  • Experience presenting solutions to clients
Preferred Skills
  • DOD Secret Clearance
  • Previous Experience with USAID
  • Familiarity with Windows 10
  • Deep Familiarity with Google Suite of Tools
  • Experience working with ServiceNow
Preferred Certifications are as follows:
  • CompTIA Project+
  • PMI PMP Certified Project Manager
  • ITIL v3 Foundations Certification
Required:  US Citizen with the ability to obtain Secret Clearance
