PRISM Application Support Analyst

Position Description
AINS is looking for a highly skilled Business Support Analyst responsible for supporting Tier 3 analysis and customer support for Compusearch’s commercial off the shelf application, PRISM.  The Support Analyst will work closely with the Lead Analyst and other task leads to deliver high-quality support and maintenance on a large, fast-paced, application O&M project. 
Responsibilities include:
  • Manage all PRISM software change requests:  classify them as defects, assign severity rating, and define the optimal solution.  Support software Change Control Board (CCB) for Federal Government Project.
  • Collaborate effectively with project leads and business leads, and act as a liaison to the Project Applications O&M Project Manager.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify essential functional and data requirements for enhancements and customizations to the PRISM application.
  • Develop and maintain software development lifecycle processes and standards for CMM L3 compliance.
  • Review and update training and system documentation as needed for software releases.
  • Perform software validation and verification testing to ensure PRISM implementation satisfies customer requirements
  • Clearly document and report defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in the PRISM application.
  • Support the Technical Lead in the planning and implementation of O&M releases following Agile SDLC best practices.
  • Provide analysis and support, including troubleshooting tickets to identify resolutions, for Tier 3 issues.
  • During fiscal year end, provide surge support to Solution Center/Tier 2 Help Desk which supports end users processing requests.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting large scale technology programs and projects.
  • 4+ years’ strong functional experience on a PRISM implementation performing business analysis/design and/or QA testing and/or supporting Tier-2/Tier-3 Help Desk.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Successful track record following Agile SDLC practices.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and experience successfully leading COTS implementations for the Federal government.
  • Proven experience and understanding of PRISM system and business requirements.
  • Bachelor of Science degree (Computer Science or Information Systems preferred)
